My husband and I are off to an ugly sweater party tomorrow. Which seems to be the theme of choice for Christmas parties the last couple years. This is fine because nobody likes dressing up more like a dork than I do.
Being invited into one’s home with food and drinks you should return the favor by bringing a hostess gift. It doesn’t need to be fancy or extravagant a simple bottle wine will suffice. So for our friends hostess gift I’m going to do a simple bottle of wine with a crateandbarrel.com antiqued wine opener attached to it. Nothing says thank you quite like well, saying thank you! And a bottle of wine. That’s it. Its easy and always well received.
